Shotgun

Gangster

"Gangster" is a typical cyber-era firearm with a very simple structure and a smoothbore. It was purely designed for 3D printing. Even if it is printed with a shoddy knock-off printer, or cobbled together from a variety of counterfeit parts, its firepower and durability wouldn't suffer much. This pump-action shotgun fits close combat, and is effective against unprotected targets, making it suitable for urban area shoot-off and ambush.

The tradename of "Gangster" is in fact "BN-1 Anti-Riot shotgun", originally designed by Thoule Defense for the police force. However, blueprints for the gun are were sold on the black market earlier than its public sale. It is too weird for gangsters to get a law-enforcement weapon before the police themselves. Images of gangsters holding these shotguns are so widespread on social media, that people simply call it the "Gangster".

Andrea, CEO of Condor, looks down on Gangster's overall design. Considering its lame-looking appearance with eerie ballistics, he believes that Oswin, who has a particular understanding of aesthetics, must have some kind of personality disorder to approve this project. Of course, this does not prevent Andrea from copying the gun and introducing many special skins, because "Gangster" is so popular. In Matr1x Alliance, Ericsson, Kotetsu, and Amantia are loyal users of "Gangster" shotguns.

Slugger

“Slugger” is an upcoming shotgun from Arkhangai Anda. Even though its development work is still undergoing, the blueprints are already being sold on the black market.

According to the MATR1X ALLIANCE, the Slugger is a semi-automatic shotgun that combines best features of both Eastern and Western light weapon design schools. Compared to a common shotgun, it is structurally closer to an assault rifle, providing excellent rate of fire and stability, and a revolutionary design. As the position of the barrel is lower than the shaft line of the buttstock, the muzzle jump is lighter than that of an ordinary shotgun, and the ballistic performance is stable. The gun uses a drum to supply ammunition, which ensures a sustained fire, but also makes the relatively heavy structure even heavier in weight, and makes the tactic different from the ordinary shotgun, which requires special training.

Currently, MATR1X ALLIANCE has carried out a printability adaptation of Slugger's blueprint and has been conducting trial print samples.
