Weapon skin alone does not add any extra properties, it is purely cosmetic and does not affect game balance in any way. Each weapon skin has certain attributes such as Quality, Wear rating, StatTrak, and Souvenir.
You can view and use your weapon skin in the game; The shooter's Weapon skin is also displayed after each kill; also in their profile and lobby...
Rarity is a key factor in determining the value of skin. Certain skins are produced in limited quantities, for specific purposes or teams related, and will become rare. The supply of these skins is limited, and the demand for these unique items tends to be high, driving up their market price. Some rare skins may become scarcer over time, increasing their long-term collectible value. Collectors should consider the appearance and quality of skins when selecting them, and how these factors affect the attractiveness and market demand of the skin.
Unique design and appearance
The appearance and quality of the skin (i.e. wear) have a significant impact on its trading value. Skin that is brand new and free of wear is generally valued higher because of its optimal appearance. In addition, skins with unique patterns or colors may be favored by players for their aesthetics, which in turn increases their market demand and value.
The value of skin is also influenced by community recognition and fashion trends. Some skins may become sought-after due to buzz within the community, recommendations, or use by professional players. Community recognition can significantly increase the skin's visibility and demand, thus increasing its trading value.
Collectible potential
The skin market is highly liquid, and skins can be bought and sold within the game, on official trading markets, as well as on other third-party trading platforms. This liquidity ensures that collectors can buy and sell skins relatively easily, thus realizing its collectible value.
Quality is distinguished by weapon item labels, which represent the rarity and appearance value of the weapon skin.
All dagger and glove skins are scarce special items in gold in weapon cases, but they are also legendary in quality and are added to the name of the dagger and glove skin (★).

Theme design: Design patterns according to the theme of the skin, together with the structure of the corresponding gun. The pattern would be fixed, only the degree of wear would be different.
Metaphysical skin: Design a quadrangle continuous material print and lay it on the surface of the weapon. During the process, the deviation and rotation of the print will be random, so that the final skin pattern will be different and have a greater room of possibility.
Special effects and dynamics

Wear rating determines the appearance of weapon skins and represents the age of the skin. Wear rating is a simple description of the condition of the skin and does not increase or decrease as you use it. At the same time, the specific wear rating of each weapon is completely different, and each weapon of each player is unique.
The impact and presentation of wear rating of some weapons can also be different. For example, some weapon wear results in paint scratches, while some only affect the skin's color lightness.
Take "Guardian| |Reika" as an example, the wear rating is ranked from new to old:
When opening a weapon case, you may get a weapon marked with a StatTrak, which adds a counter to the skin to record the total number of players killed with the Weapon. Daggers do not generate a StatTrak.
If you pick up someone else's StatTrak weapon, the counter will show "Error", indicating that it is being used by someone other than the owner. StatTrak kills do not decrease with deaths and match losses, and they do not record robot kills.
