Types of Weapon Cases and How to Obtain Them

Weapon Case is the main way for players to obtain weapon skins in MATR1X FIRE. Weapon cases are divided into several types, each with its own unique set of skins and probability.

  1. Conventional Weapon Case

    1. Basic Weapon Case: Produced by players with advanced characters with above quality through in-game battles.

    2. Season Limited Basic Weapon Case: Produced by players with character of advanced or above quality together with Battle Pass. These Cases are an additional output of in-game battles. A new season-limited weapon case will be added each season, and it will be added to the Basic Weapon Case pool after the season is over.

    3. Battle Pass Weapon Case: Exclusively obtained by players upgrading their Battle Pass for the season.

  2. Souvenir Case

    • The acquisition of Souvenir Cases is usually related to tournaments, events or anniversaries, and is mainly divided into Event Souvenir Weapon Cases (such as KUKU X Collection Souvenir Case) and Tournament Souvenir Weapon Cases.

  3. Active Weapon case

    • Earned by completing in-game activities or missions. Case-opening generally does not cost tokens. Weapon skins obtained can only be used in-game and are not tradable.

Case-opening Mechanics and Probabilities

The unboxing mechanism of Weapon Cases is based on random probability, and each Weapon Case has a preset probability of dropping items. These probabilities are transparent and open, ensuring that all players have a fair chance of getting a variety of skins when opening the Weapon Case.

The Relationship between Weapon Cases and Game Economy

The Weapon Case system is an important part of the MATR1X FIRE game economy. Not only does it provide a goal for players to pursue, but it also provides a reasonable and rich path of conversion for proof of work.

Through the Weapon Case System and the Weapon Synthesis System, players can gain value in the game and sell Weapon Cases or skins through the trading market, creating an active economic cycle.
